Warranty Policy

01. Product warranty


All products sold by DDi served to end customers, for personal use, have a legal guarantee of at least two years, in accordance with Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 which approves the General Law for the defense of consumers and Users, a period that starts from the delivery of the goods.

02. Warranty limitations


The warranty for some consumables (consumables for printers, batteries, etc.) will be limited to the period of their useful life, with a guarantee of 6 months of use and two years of legal guarantee in accordance with current legislation.

Optical consumables against possible defects, in their material or manufacturing, they must remain in good condition, well stored, with due knowledge of their purpose, and used correctly; However, there is no guarantee that these will be compatible with the recording hardware that the customer may have. Returns of any incompatible optical data carrier without the original seal will not be accepted.

Printing consumables manufactured by third parties are guaranteed against defects in their materials or manufacturing, they must remain in good condition whenever they are stored correctly; However, we cannot guarantee that they will be compatible with hardware if it is specifically programmed to exclude the use of unofficial consumables.

Conditions for companies and distributors: In the situation where the customer is a distributor or bills as a company (and not an individual) and given that the law on consumer goods does not regulate sales between companies, shipping costs to our facilities will always be charged. customer charge. In these cases, the warranty will be that stipulated by the product manufacturer.

03. The warranty does not cover:


Products that show incorrect use or manipulation will not be covered by the warranty.

Misuse, breakage or absence of the warranty seal involves its automatic cancellation.

The backup copy of any data that the customer could store on media or devices obtained from WWW.DVD.PT is the responsibility of the product user. DVDi will not be responsible for loss or damage to stored data, including, without limitation, data lost or damaged during diagnosis, technical support or transmission of product warranty.

Unless the law provides otherwise, we will not be liable to you for any indirect loss, damage or expense (including loss of profit, business or charity) arising from a product purchased from www.dvd.pt and we will not be liable to pay any type of additional compensation for the amount you have paid for the product in question under the conditions expressed in our conditions of use.

04. Commercial guarantee


The optional commercial warranty, specific to each product, varies with coverage and term depending on its nature and the manufacturer. Once the Legal Guarantee coverage period has ended, the commercial guarantee, if any, must be presented directly to the manufacturer.

05. Warranty processing


The legal guarantee covers all products against possible defects in materials, manufacturing and discrepancies in functionality.

If you discover any of these problems during the legal period, you must notify us in writing at [email protected] as soon as possible (maximum two weeks from the moment you notice the problem) and preferably before the end of the of the first six months of use (from the moment of delivery confirmation) indicating your email, with the “order” order number, the exact name of the product and exact details about the problem detected.
